Internal Family Systems (IFS) uses experiential techniques that serve to identify different parts of you that affect emotional experience. We have many parts of our psyche that operate mostly in an unconscious manner. This therapeutic approach helps you learn about these different parts and how to relate to them with curiosity, compassion and a new perspective.
As we learn to approach our different parts from a place of openhearted compassion, we can experience insight and deeper healing. The outcome of IFS therapy techniques can include a sense of inner freedom and peace, radical self-acceptance and the transformation of our parts, making way for us to become more Self-led.
